Shipping & returns


THE PHOTO OUTFITTERS strives to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 14 days for a refund or exchange.


All returned or exchanged items must be in NEW CONDITION. Your return must be in the original undamaged box and must include all packing material with original labels attached, blank warranty cards, sealed manuals, software & all other included accessories.


Used equipment carries a 90 day warranty unless specified otherwise on the purchase receipt. Warranty service for used gear may include repair, exchange or store credit.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS MAY APPLY:

Items with timers must show less than 120 minutes of use.

Defective items will be repaired or exchanged in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s defective product & warranty policies.

Return shipping on all returns is the responsibility of the customer.

All items will need to be received and inspected before any refunds, returns or credited payments can be processed.

Refunds are made by the “same method” of payment of the original purchase. Debit card & check payments will be refunded by check after 10 business days minimum from the original purchase date.


Cash purchases may be subject to refund by check at the store’s discretion. Gift card purchases will be returned as a gift card. NOTE: Your bank may take up to 7 additional days to process a credit card refund.


RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THESE ITEMS

  • Any discontinued, final sale, close out or clearance items.
  • All consumable items, including but not limited to film, paper, any light or heat sensitive items, inks, tapes, bulbs, batteries, memory cards, chemicals and other like items.
  • Labor, delivery, repair or installation charges.
  • Any item customized or modified before or after purchase.
  • Gift Cards
  • All shipping fees & charges
  • Items that have been damaged or show abnormal wear and tear.


RESTOCKING FEES
A restocking fee of up to 15% of the total purchase price may be charged for open electronic items. This is fully at the discretion of store management.


SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Curbside or pickup in store is FREE and available for all in-stock items at our Charlotte, North Carolina store during regular business hours.
We ship from Charlotte, NC and can deliver to most East Coast addresses within 2-3 days. Orders placed by 1p.m. Eastern will ship the same day. Orders placed after 1p.m., Saturday, Sunday or on holidays will ship the next business day. Large, bulky or heavy items such as tripods, Cstands and softboxes may incur additional shipping charges.  Unless otherwise noted:
STANDARD SHIPPING All orders less than $99 ship for flat rate $7.99 via USPS.
EXPRESS SHIPPING (2 days) ships for $23.99.


Please note that holidays and severe weather and other unforseen occurences may impact delivery times and are not the responsibilty of The Photo Outfitters. If your order is time-sensitive call us directly so we can work with you to determine the best shipping option.
